About Me

Hi, I'm Brandee Ellis, a registered dietitian-nutritionist, exercise physiologist, a yoga teacher and health coach who is also a devoted foodie, a yoga practitioner and a travel enthusiast. I have the good fortune to work with people who share my vision of healthy, passionate living, and I enjoy helping my clients eat, breathe, and live more healthfully.
 
I received a Masters of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology, and the Registered Dietitian-Nutrition licensure from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City.

In the meantime, I found my passion for teaching yoga, and took a three-month sabbatical for a life-changing experience in India, knowing there was nowhere else I could learn yoga rather than in its birthplace. I was awarded a scholarship for an intense, yoga teacher training immersion program in Rishikesh, India. During that time, I also had my first solo travel across India, which was enlightening, humbling, and forever changed my perspective on life. After returning to NYC, I realized that the only way to truly live happily and healthfully is to combine mind, body, and heart in everything I do.
 
Now that I'm back in New York, I know that this is where I serve my clients best, as I am determined to bring the simple beauty and illustrious strength of India to NYC. I want to help you live the best life you can live. I design personalized yoga sessions, eating and cooking assistance, and coach you to optimal health with exercise, all while offering my support and guidance.
 
As in my yoga practice, I come to my work mindfully with grace and patience. It is my goal to guide clients through their transformation, letting go of bad habits and insecurities in order to let health and natural beauty shine through.
